Continued Profits at the Gross Margin Line Validate the Strategy

SAN DIEGO (November 23, 2011) – Envision Solar International, Inc., (www.envisionsolar.com) (OTC BB:(EVSI.ob – NEWS), a leading sustainable infrastructure product designer and developer, today announced that the company was once again profitable at the gross margin line in the 3rd quarter of FY2011. The company will hold a webinar on Wednesday, November 30th to give an update on the company’s operations and prospects. Interested parties should contact the company or visit the company’s website for further details.

Envision Solar’s President and CEO, Desmond Wheatley, said, “Profitability at the Gross Margin line has been our highest priority. Demonstrating that we can sell our products profitably at lower volumes is a key indicator of our ability to generate significant shareholder returns at scale. Viewed in conjunction with the recent announcements from General Motors regarding our Solar Tree® structures and our current deployments for a major utility and a major government entity, we feel that our ability to scale up the business is now, more than ever, being demonstrated.”

GM selected us because of the uniqueness and high quality of our products and the paradigm shifting nature of our approach to the EV charging market. Our Solar Tree® structures can be installed in any location while our unique tracking solution allows us to always get the most from the sun. As such they are the perfect visible embodiment of GM and its dealerships commitment to the environment and the future of electric and other highly efficient vehicles. We look forward to installing many more of our iconic tracking Solar Tree® structures for GM in the coming months.”

Rob Threlkeld, GM Global Manager of Renewable Energy said: “GM’s decision to use Envision Solar’s Solar Tree® structure dovetails with our larger environmental commitment to reduce our environmental impact. By continuing to find ways to utilize advanced technologies for the greater good, we are hopeful that these trends will soon become commonplace.”

SAN DIEGO (October 20, 2011) – Envision Solar International, Inc., (www.envisionsolar.com) (OTC BB:(EVSI.ob – NEWS), a leading sustainable infrastructure product designer and developer, announced that it has broken ground on a Solar Grove® deployment for a major California utility. The deployment consists of a grove of Envision’s Solar Tree® structures in a showcase and high visibility innovative facility which will be open to the public.

The Solar Grove® deployment includes Solar Tree® structures which incorporate Envision’s CleanCharge™ CI™, “column-integrated” electric vehicle charging stations as well as energy storage elements. The installation is scheduled for completion by the end of 2011. The Solar Tree® structures also incorporate Envision’s EnvisionTrak™ multi-axis solar tracking technology which should increase the efficiency of the entire installation by as much as 25%. Envision Solar has recently released its new proprietary and patent pending EnvisionTrak™ technology and has installations performing flawlessly in multiple markets across the USA today.

Desmond Wheatley, President and CEO of Envision Solar stated: “We are proud that Envision Solar was selected by this Utility because of the unique and paradigm shifting nature of our products. After visiting one of our existing deployments recently, a senior member of their team thanked Envision Solar for “advancing the industry for everyone else” – high praise indeed for our products. Experience tells us that being vetted and then selected by a Utility means opportunities for growth beyond the initial deployment and increased likelihood of projects with their peers. That’s good for the Utilities, the environment and our shareholders”.

Robert Noble, Founder and Chairman of Envisions’ Board added: “Leading major utilities worldwide are embracing distributed generation solar, and the most advanced companies appreciate the economic, environmental and societal benefits of Envision’s “Smart” Solar Tree® structures. Rooftop and ground mount solar installations are problematic in many cases, whereas, Envision’s Solar Tree® structures with EnvisionTrak™ tracking technology are as much as 25% more efficient, and provide shade, EV charging and clean energy generation which is highly visible to the public. We believe that this first major utility-owned Solar Grove® deployment will prove that the cleanest and most efficient renewable energy infrastructure can also be the most beautiful: Envision’s “Smart” Solar Trees®.”

Envision Solar Announces Profitable Quarter
Profits at the Gross Margin Line Validate the Strategy

SAN DIEGO (August 4, 2011) – Envision Solar International, Inc., (www.envisionsolar.com) (OTC BB:EVSI), a leading sustainable infrastructure product designer and developer, today announced that the company was profitable in the 2nd quarter of FY2011. The company recorded net income of $381,450, or $0.01 per share, for the quarter. Envision Solar produced gross profit margins from installations in the North East and South West of the United States, further demonstrating the universal appeal of EnvisionTrak™ Solar Tree® structures and the company’s ability to execute across a broad market.

Envision Solar’s President and CEO, Desmond Wheatley, said, “Our decision to focus on Park Solar and the huge opportunity in solar shaded parking is paying off. We’ve demonstrated that we can deploy our highly engineered and architected Solar Tree® structures anywhere and that we can do so profitably at the gross margin line. The standardization we have brought to the product line and our process-driven deployment methodology allow for significant scale and operating leverage. The whole team is focused on the profitable deployment of our products. The hard work is starting to pay off.”

Company Founder Robert Noble stated: “Desmond and our management team have built a strong platform for growth in the months and years to come. We’re proving that our beautiful, infrastructure quality Smart Tree™ with EnvisionTrak™ tracking technology not only generates clean energy and lots of shade, but also excellent margins and now profits for our shareholders.”

Envision Solar’s Solar Tree® structures with integrated EnvisionTrak™ and CleanCharge™ systems together comprise a highly engineered parking area solar array charging system that is 18 to 22 percent more productive than conventional fixed solar photovoltaic systems. This increase is achieved by incorporating hybrid multi–access tracking, which enables the solar panels to follow the sun throughout the day. Energy from the panels could be used to charge electric vehicles, in some case 24 hours a day, through the innovative integration of battery storage solutions, or delivered to the power grid.
