Malls Envision Solar Groves
Envision Solar International Inc., a San Diego, Calif.-based global developer of solar integrated building systems, is planting its first Solar Trees in parking lots across the country.
The two-year-old company sees owners of large parking lots such as shopping malls, amusement parks, hospitals and schools, as prime candidates for its 12-foot-tall, 10-kilowatt Solar Trees.

Sun Shades Cool Parking Lots, Pumps Solar Energy
Add up all the asphalt parking lots surrounding the nation’s malls, offices and commuter hubs, and there’s more than enough blacktop to pave over Connecticut. Envision Solar International hopes to tranform those barren expanses into green-energy oases by erecting forests of “solar trees”. About 12 feet tall, each “tree” is capped with a 1,000 sq-ft canopy covered in solar cells.

Envision Solar to Offer Advanced Solar Structure
Envision Solar International Inc., a provider of solar integrated building systems, announced a comprehensive renewable energy offering combining Envision Solar’s LifePort, a solar carport, and GridPoint Connect, an appliance that provides plug-in hybrid electric vehicle “smart charging,” clean backup power, online energy management and the ability to easily integrate renewable energy.
